Along with representatives from other social justice organizations, Engage in Brooklyn entertained toddlers and distributed information to potential Engage volunteerstheir grandparentsat a large Park Slope community event organized by Congregation Beth Elohim.

With the help of two great volunteers, Vicki Felder and Marilyn Duckoff, we revised the "bobbing for apples" game by hanging apples from strings and seeing if the kids could bite into them. One passerby said our hanging applies looked like a work of art. I don't know if I'd go that far, but the kids had great time and we successfully finished all of our apples!
